We went to to Pompeii, Napoli with Yean Shien and her parents. We had a good time together. The ruins are awesome. A friend told me that Pompeii is like Ostia Antica in Rome but it seems that Pompeii is more popular maybe because of the history. It is a trip worth going. If you are visiting Italy, please do not miss this place.

Pompeii is in the region of Napoli and in AD 79 the Roman civilisation was buried in the pumice and ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted. For more information, please go to www.pompeiisites.org
